Enable Content Upgrades on the blog index page
When using the shortcode option for Content Upgrades, by default it shows the actual shortcode code on the blog page.
By checking the Enable Content Upgrades on the blog index page setting, the shortcode content will show the same as it does in the post.
Enable Content Upgrades on category archives
When using the shortcode option for Content Upgrades, by default it shows the actual shortcode code on the category archive pages.
By checking the Enable Content Upgrades on category archives setting, the shortcode content will show the same as it does in the post.
Enable Content Upgrades on date archives
When using the shortcode option for Content Upgrades, by default it shows the actual shortcode code on the date archive pages.
By checking the Enable Content Upgrades on date archives setting, the shortcode content will show the same as it does in the post.
Enable CUs on the custom template
If you are using a custom template on your site for your blog page, for example, and you want to use Content Upgrades on that page, you'll need to enter the name of your file in the Enable CUs on the custom template setting.
Fire a Facebook conversion event whenever any content upgrade form has been submitted
If you're using Facebook Ads and you already have Facebook Pixel installed on your site, check this box to fire an event and register a conversion in Facebook anytime someone completes any content upgrade form.
Note: You must have Facebook Pixel installed on your site and the page where your Content Upgrades will be displayed. Also, you can add additional Facebook conversion events for the individual Content Upgrades by editing those.
If you enable this setting, you'll need to give your Facebook conversion event a name.
Fire a Google Analytics event when content upgrades are submitted.
When this option is enabled and a user submits a content upgrade form, a Google Analytics event called 'Content Upgrade' will be sent to your Google Analytics account. Its description will match the title of the specific Content Upgrade. Make sure your Google Analytics Universal Tracking Code is installed on your site.
If you choose to enable this setting, it will be applied to all Content Upgrades going forward. And you can enable or disable this option on an individual Content Upgrades.
Trigger a custom JavaScript event whenever any content upgrade form has been submitted
You can have custom JavaScript run anytime a Content Upgrade form is submitted.
You'll need to create and enter your own code.
Design
The Design Settings allows you to set your default button text and customize the way your Content Upgrades popup appears so that you can match it to your theme.
You can also style the box that shows in your content.
Lastly, you can Disable CSS so that none of the plugin's styling is used.
Popup
Display bonus content download link immediately after the form is submitted.
When a user completes the Content Upgrade form, you have the option to immediately display the link for them to download their bonus content instead of just receiving the link via email.
Text in download popup
If you opt to enable the immediate download link option, you can customize the text that shows in that window.
Enable social sharing buttons on the download bonus content popup
If you want to include buttons for social media sharing, you have the option to include them.
You can also customize the label for sharing the content on social media.
Enable Exit-Intent Popup
Enabling the Exit-Intent Popup will automatically bring up your Content Upgrade popup when a customer starts to mouse outside the viewport.
Enable consent checkbox
If you choose to enable the Consent Checkbox setting, it will add a checkbox to the popup for the user to allow their information to be collected. You can customize the label for the checkbox.
Disable Emails
By default, Content Upgrades sends an email to users when they signup. If you want to disable this globally, you can disable emails under the Email Settings tab.
If you want to disable emails for a specific Content Upgrade, you can set that on the individual Content Upgrade instead of doing it here.
Email to Administrator
If you'd like for your administrator(s) to receive an email whenever someone signs up for Content Upgrades, you can check the box to enable these emails.
You also have the option to customize the emails your admins receive.
Default Email to User
This option is enabled by default, however, you can disable it if you'd like. Like the Email to Administrator setting, you can customize this email as well.
Integrations
Content Upgrades currently has integration with Drip, ConvertKit, Mailchimp and Zapier. You need to have already set up your account prior to integrating with Content Upgrades.
Misc
Disable "Click" event listener
In order for popups to work correctly with some themes, you will need to enable this setting.

Enable logging
The Enable Logging setting, which is enabled by default, logs events and actions related to the Content Upgrades plugin to use for troubleshooting.
