Installing Plugins from the WordPress Repository

Installing plugins to your site from the WordPress Repository is quick and simple.

There are numerous plugins available on the WordPress Repository that you can install for free.

To install plugins from the WordPress Repository, you'll want to go to Plugins > Add New in your dashboard.

You can also go to your Plugins page and click the Add New button at the top of the page.

Once you're on the page to add new plugins, you search for plugins by keyword, author or tag.

For example, you can search Solid Central in the WordPress Repository using the keyword option, and it will bring up Sync and any other similar results.

Once you've selected the plugin you'd like to add to your site, simply click the Install Now button to add the plugin to your site.

Once the installation has completed, you will be given the option to Activate the plugin.

You can go ahead and activate the plugin from there or you can go back to your plugins page and activate it from there instead.  

And that's it!  You've now installed and activated the plugin on your site and it should now be ready for use!
